The specifications for Chalkboards are virtually the same as Markerboards. Porcelain-On-Steel boards are the top of the line, have a 50-year warranty and are magnetic. The economic laminate boards typically have a 20-year warranty and are not magnetic. Standard color is green, but some manufacturers offer black or gray as alternative colors. Frames are the same as on Markerboards with basically the same types, materials, and colors available. Porcelain-On-Steel chalkboards are available with the same option graphics as Markerboards.
