Powder Coated Baked Enamel on Steel

  • Galvanized and bondized steel sheets formed and bonded under pressure to a honeycomb core. Powder coating electrostatically applied and baked until cured.
  • 1" thick doors and panels, 1-1/4" thick pilasters. 58" high doors and panels.
  • Very popular because of it's low cost.
  • Cost factor 1.0/1.0 = Powder Coated Baked Enamel.     

Plastic Laminate

  • Decorative laminate sheet bonded under high pressure and temperature to a particleboard core.
  •  7/8" and/or 1" thick doors and panels, 1-1/4" thick pilasters.
  •  58" high doors and panels.
  • Combines large color choice with economical cost.
  • Cost factor 1.10/1.0

Solid Phenolic Core

  • Decorative laminate sheet bonded under pressure and temperature to a phenolic resin impregnated kraft paper core.
  •  Black or dark brown edges.
  • Typically ½" thick panels, ¾" doors and pilasters.
  •  58" high doors and panels.
  • Provides large color selection with a core that is virtually impervious to moisture.
  • Cost factor 2.30/1.0

Color Through Phenolic

  • Virtually the same as solid phenolic core except that core material color matches the decorative laminate sheet.
  •  ½" thick panels, ¾" doors and pilasters.
  • 58" high doors and panels.
  • Limited color selection.
  • Cost factor 2.30/1.0

HDPE Solid Plastic

  • High-density polyethylene resins compounded under high pressure.
  •  Homogeneous color throughout.
  • 1" thick doors, panels, and pilasters.
  • 55" high doors and panels.
  • Recommended for high traffic areas. Water and graffiti resistant.
  • Cost factor 2.40/1.0

Solid Color Reinforced Composite

  • As known as SCRC or by "Sierra", a trade mark name of Bobrick.
  • Organic material reinforced with resins between clear melamine layers bonded together by heat and pressure.
  • Homogeneous color throughout.
  • ½" thick panels, ¾" thick doors and pilasters.
  • 58" high doors and panels.
  • Superior scratch and dent resistance.
  •  Repairable and non-ghosting graffiti removal.
  •  Limited color choices.
  •  Cost factor 2.50/1.0

Stainless Steel

  • Same basic construction as powder coated baked enamel but with Type 304 stainless steel face sheets and edges.
  • #4 satin finish typical. Texture finishes optional.
  •  Optional plywood core available.
  • 1" thick doors and panels, 1-1/4" thick pilasters.
  •  58" high doors and panels.
  • Virtually indestructible and impervious to most susbstances.
  • Light scratches are repairable.
  • Cost factor 3.10/1.0
