The standard is a #4 satin finish. Other finishes available may include the following:
- Bright Also referred to as #8 Polished. A mirror finish similar in appearance to chrome plating.
- Peened Achieved by shooting metallic balls in a jet of high-pressure air producing slight indentations on the tube surface.
- Knurled A diamond-shaped crosshatch pattern cut onto the surface of the bar.
- Ripple Cut A bubble pattern embossed into the tubing.
- Anti-Slip A non-slip coating applied to the surface of the bar.
- Powder Coated An electrostatically applied color coating on the bar
- Plated Brass being the most popular, but other finishes are available
