Flanges

Flanges come in one of three types; Exposed, Snap, or Concealed.
Exposed
Screw holes are exposed. Flange thickness can range from 14 gauge/.083" up to optional 8 gauge/.165" depending on the manufacturer. Round shape is typical, diamond shaped optional.
Snap
A cover snaps over a dimpled mounting flange concealing the screw holes. Round is typical, square shape optional.
