Types include Lavatory Mounted, Tank Type, and Powder Soap dispensers.
- Commercial grade soap dispensers available from Hardware Discounters, Inc. are designed to dispense commercially marketed all-purpose hand soaps including liquid and lotion soaps, synthetic detergents, and antibacterial soaps. They are not designed for alcohol-based hand sanitizers or iodine-based surgical soaps. Contact our sales staff to confirm the compatibility of a dispenser with a particular soap type.
Lavatory Mounted Soap Dispensers
Lavatory mounted soap dispensers consist of a plunger and spout on the counter top and the bottle underneath. 4" or 6" spouts and 16, 20, or 34 oz bottles are typical. Bobrick offers the SureFlo® Soap Dispensing System that consists of a wall mounted cabinet that is mounted under the lavatory countertop and holds a 12 liter soap cartridge. Multiple pumps can then be attached via supply tubes. To eliminate cross contamination, automatic touch-free sensor dispensers are available
Tank Type
Tank Type. A catchall name we are using for any soap dispenser that has a tank or reservoir for all-purpose soaps. Surface mounted units could be a horizontal or vertical configuration. There are dispenser/shelf combination models and even some automatic touch-free sensor dispensers.
Powder Soap Dispensers
Dispenses free flowing powdered soaps. Not as popular but a limit number of models are still available.
